This ideal kit for the production of Chlorine Dioxide (MMS) contains two products:
- Sodium Chlorite 25% liquid: Precursor for obtaining in situ, with the combination of the activator, a biocide (chlorine dioxide) for the purification of water for human and animal consumption.
- Liquid hydrochloric acid 4%: Activator for obtaining in situ, with the combination of the precursor, a biocide (chlorine dioxide) for the potabilisation of water for human and animal consumption.

The O7-Organic Purification Kit consists of 25% liquid Sodium Chlorite, commonly known as Precursor, and 4% liquid Hydrochloric Acid, also known as Activator. They are generally used for the on-site production of a biocide (chlorine dioxide MMS).
Composition of the Chlorine Dioxide Water Purification Kit
25% sodium chlorite (NaCIO2) solution, which is used as a precursor for a biocide called chlorine dioxide. To obtain chlorine dioxide, it is necessary to acidify the solution with an activator (Hydrochloric Acid) HCL at 4%. The Purification Kit consists of two products, one with the 25% Sodium Chlorite solution and the other with the 4% HCL activator.
How to prepare Chlorine Dioxide MMS with Sodium Chlorite (Precursor) + Hydrochloric Acid HCL (Activator)
To obtain Chlorine Dioxide to eliminate viruses and bacteria for drinking water, add 3 drops of Activator (Hydrochloric Acid HCl – 4%) and 3 drops of Precursor (Sodium Chlorite 25%) in a dry container for each litre of water, wait 20 seconds until a golden amber colour is obtained.
Fill with the water to be treated and wait 30 minutes. The level of active chlorine should be between 0.5 – 1.5 ppm.
