What is the CDS and what is it for?
Discover the uses and applications of chlorine dioxide
CDS is a biocide with multiple properties commonly used in water disinfection and potabilisation. Due to its powerful disinfectant action, it is widely used in the thorough cleaning of objects and surfaces, as well as in hospitals (sterilisation of medical equipment and cleaning of operating theatres).
Chlorine Dioxide at 3000 ppm has been proven to be highly effective and safe in killing viruses, bacteria, microbes, fungi and pathogenic germs such as legionella.
Conservation of Chlorine Dioxide (CDS)
Keep the container in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Once opened, store in a refrigerator in an upright position. We recommend using Chlorine Dioxide at 3000 ppm at a temperature below 11ºC and, once opened for use, to close it quickly so that the gas does not evaporate. The CDS at 3000 ppm is packaged in a specially selected amber glass bottle, which helps the chlorine dioxide to keep well and protect it from ultraviolet light and heat sources.
The CDS has an expiry date of 6 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the product label.
Instructions for use
How to use chlorine dioxide and in what dosage?
Dilute 1 ml of product per litre of water to be treated in water and leave to act for at least 30 minutes. To do this, simply insert the syringe into the nozzle of the bottle and withdraw 1 ml of chlorine dioxide. You can use both the syringe provided (withdrawing the exact ml) and the measuring cap (approximately 20 drops equal 1 ml).
The amount of product may vary depending on the quality of the water to be treated. Use with caution.
Do not consume treated water until the active chlorine level is between 0.5 – 1.5 ppm.
Contraindications when buying Chlorine Dioxide (CDS)
When purchasing Chlorine Dioxide (CDS) generated by electrolysis, we recommend reading the product safety data sheet for correct and proper use. Use with caution, always read labels and product information.

Frequently Asked Questions when buying Chlorine Dioxide (FAQ)
Is it necessary to activate O7-Organic Chlorine Dioxide (CDS)?
It is not necessary. Our CDS generated by electrolysis is ready for direct use, i.e. it is already activated and you don’t have to do anything else. We only recommend chilling it to a temperature below 11ºC before consumption.
Does CDS 250 ml contain any excipients?
No, our Chlorine Dioxide (CDS) is a product without excipients, preservatives or stabilising chemicals.
I have decided to buy Chlorine Dioxide, what dosage should I use to make 1 litre of water drinkable?
In order to drink 1 litre of non-potable water, it is recommended to use 1 ml (or 20 drops) of Chlorine Dioxide at 3000 ppm to disinfect the water from germs, bacteria and fungi.
How do I measure the amount if I decide to use the dropper of the dosing cap?
If you are more comfortable using the measuring cap, you should use 20 drops, as this is the equivalent of 1 ml of chlorine dioxide.
How do I measure the amount if I decide to use the syringe?
Simply insert the 5 ml syringe into the hole in the nozzle of the stopper and withdraw 1 ml.
