25% sodium chlorite (NaCIO2) solution, which is used as a precursor for a biocide called chlorine dioxide. To obtain chlorine dioxide, it is necessary to acidify the solution with an activator (Hydrochloric Acid) HCL at 4%. The Purification Kit consists of two products, one with the 25% Sodium Chlorite solution and the other with the 4% HCL activator.<\/p>\n

How to prepare Chlorine Dioxide MMS with Sodium Chlorite (Precursor) + Hydrochloric Acid HCL (Activator)<\/h2>\n

To obtain Chlorine Dioxide to eliminate viruses and bacteria for drinking water, add 3 drops of Activator (Hydrochloric Acid HCl – 4%) and 3 drops of Precursor (Sodium Chlorite 25%) in a dry container for each litre of water, wait 20 seconds until a golden amber colour is obtained.<\/p>\n

Fill with the water to be treated and wait 30 minutes. The level of active chlorine should be between 0.5 – 1.5 ppm.<\/p>\n
